The AC and hardtop are nice and so is the lower mileage.  Especially wish I had the AC.  If you need AC and a hardtop, then your choice is pretty clear

But, my 94 YJ4 has almost 140k on the original engine.  Have been using full synthetic on it since I bought it with 65k on the OD.  Haven't done a compression test, but the 2.5 still seems to run very well and I wouldn't be surprised if I could get another 100k+ out of it, barring unforseen circumstances

If you think the maintenance has been pretty great with your 1st choice with 100k, then you may want to go with that one and pocket the money for the usual upgrades.  If you didn't know anything about the maintenance history of the first one, then I'd definitely take the 2nd choice

Well,
Today I got around to making calls to both choices to set up one last drive/look of each before I made up my mind.....

Called on the High miler,  Set up an Apt.  Then called the low miler.  Set up an apt.

Went and saw the High.  Then the low.  In the 2 hours from setting up the appointment to showing up.  The low mile one had been sold and was gone.

So I called the other one back and threw a cash offer at him.....Pretty low one too.  Didn't really think he would take it......

Needless to say I drove home my new money pi.....Er  Toy this afternoon!

Hope this isn't a sign of things to come but.... I stopped to get gas and when I went to open the door........The handle came off in my hand WTF?!?!?

See if this pic works....

Hey, look at that!  It worked......

First order of business is to get new shocks.  It has the factory originals and a 2" BB. (Felt them top out when I did a little flexing in the field behind our house) Have done a couple searches and it sounds like I should get Bilstens for a 3" lift.  Is that right.....

Nice Rig! I've always liked them in black, easy to touch up too. Take a look at the Doesch Tech (spelling?) shocks. I've heard from several people that they're comparable to the bilstiens for ride quality yet much cheaper.
