Well heading back to my parents house for Christmas, taking the Freezing Machine From Denver to Northern Minnesota today.  We got 32 inches of snow here in the last couple days but its clearing up today.  The heater core is still dead, so its gonna be cold, and the engine overheated last night because where we spliced the anti-freeze hoses that go into the heater core, well the slice came apart, antifreeze all over the place.  Wish me some luck fellas

Last winter I ran into a guy at the gas station who was driving a CJ with no top in the dead of Jan. He was going from Flint, MI to Madison, WI. That's nuts. Hope that make ya feel better.

Of course you could always stop at a parts store and get a heater that plugs into the cig outlet.

good luck, just breathe on the windshield to get the frost off!!!!
or just get a cigarrette lighter plug to plug in your girlfriends hair dryer to do it.

Saw a CJ with no top driving around a couple weeks ago!  It was like 30-40 degrees out.  LOL

Good luck with the drive man.

I wonder how much a heater core is at AutoZone, sometimes I have even fixed those things with a propane torch and some solder depending were the leak actually was.

I would be tempted to try and fix it myself too. Some people can take it. I ride a motorcycle and it is coold for me in Southern California , let alone denver where it just got freezing.

I just saw a mini heater that sits on the dash at Pep boys for $15.00.It's about the size of a baseball cap.

Alright thanks fellas, trip went great no problems, there certainly were alot of  cars, trucks and semis stranded along the side of the highway in Colorado and western Nebraska, It was cold as hell friday night 9 degrees, wish i had one of those heaters that plugged into the cigarette outlet, figure I could have purchased one, but couldn't be bothered, anyways thanks fellas, Merry Christmas
