Had the axle situation well in hand until I got the grime off of my EB d44 and discovered a fine group of boogar welds holding the axle housing together.  Back to the drawing board.  Found a complete 8.8, discs and all along with a ford fullsize d44 that has been shortened.   Back to the same issue with mismatched bolt patterns.  Can you get shafts for the 8.8 with a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern?

The Super88 kit from Superior has lug holes for both 5x4.5" and 5x5.5".

6x5.5" is the best :ass:

Baby steps fellas, one bolt pattern at a time.   :baby:
One day we'll grow into a set of one tons and a 8 on 6.5 pattern

To be really cool you would need all the parts you keep talking about to actually be on a rig  :stick:

Just picked up a shortend 44 from a fullsize ford.  Complete with disc brakes and bonus flat top knuckles.  The same guy offered me an 8.8 to go with complete with discs and limited slip.  Score one for the home team. :hitit:

So are you saying you now have a bolt in front D44 and rear 8.8?  Get a good deal?

Not bolt in.  The front was set up for coils.  Still needs a regear but the brakes are discs and both are complete.  Both for 300$ they need regeared and perches welded.  better than drums all around and a low pinion in the rear.
