Early Broncos have 9's that are close to jeep stock.  I believe some of the old muscle cars had 9's at around 58' length, and the big blocks (like the galaxie 429) had 9's that width that were stock 31 spline.  You can get 9's down here all day for 100$ an axle.

For me it does not matter anymore but thanks anyway it's good for the new guys and gals (if we have many), i wound up getting an 8.8 but it came with my new ranger lol, my jeep is more less going to live on the streets now with the odd field run.

I'll still be going with the 8.8. Hard to beat it with disc brakes and all for the price.
