Installed trans cooler
« on: December 03, 2008, 10:06:13 AM »
My trans cooler was sitting on my front porch waiting for me when I got home today. I figured I would install it and leave it disconnected until I installed the new trans over the coming weekend. I had to remove the top bolts that attach the "V" bracket behind the grill to allow room for me to slide it in place. Once I did that it slid in with no problems. I slid it in horizontally and then flipped it vertically so that in the inlet/outlets were facing down. This way they will be in the same general area ad the o.e. inlet and outlet on the radiator cooler.

This thing is pretty big @ 10" x 15 - 7/8" x 3/4".

Still trying to decide if I want to use the o.e. cooler along with this one.

Some pics. Click the thumbs.

So new and shiny... for now.
