Another newbee question/seatbelts
« on: April 23, 2009, 07:43:23 AM »
My 95yj belts dont act how they should. Is there a way to service them so they act smoother and engage when they are supposed to or should I chance getting some from someone parting out a yj and hope they just work better than mine? Thanks in advance of any replies. Learning as I go.

You can remove them and try to lube up the mechanism.  Kind of depends on whether they are sticking because they are gunked up or if the ratchets are worn.

The clowns'? Oh, yeah, the clowns. We fight them too — entire armies, spilling out of Volkswagons. We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending 'em in!
