TJ rear coil correction?
« on: May 29, 2009, 06:22:45 PM »
Has anyone done the rear coil correction on a TJ and is it really needed?

I do see how the rear coils sit at an angle and how straight up and down like the front might be better.

Plus the kit is pretty cheap about $100

A friend of mine fixed his, he cut the upper spring seats of without damaging rhen then flipped them around which pretty much puts them straight above the lower seat and welded them back in place. For the folks without welding skills AEV/ Nth degree has a bolt on kit that moves the upper sping seat back, also their rear shock shifters are a good investment that or make a lower shock mount that sits behind the lower control arm mount for more clearance under the axle
