Just got off the phone with Banks...
I wanted to have Jet Hot Coatings ceramic coat my new Banks torque tube header and head pipe but I figured I had better check with Banks first.
Good thing because it would have voided the warranty. Rick, the guy I talked to, said that the coating doesn't let the 304 stainless (or whatever the correct alloy is) release heat as intended in the bare condition.
Funny, 'cause all the Corvette guys swear by it.
