97 ax 5 into a 95 yj

just wondering if anything is different.
its a 97 ax5 trany going into a 95 yj.
thanks. i think 97 is external slave?

Yep external slave. The 98 AX-5 I just put in is ext. as well  :smokes:
92 YJ. Lifted, 4:88's, 9" rear, 4 wheel disks, some armor, some audio, 35" KM2's, and more

my 95 YJ ax5 had external slave as well - not sure about other differences but the slaves are the same
'95 YJ, NSG370 6spd / Hurst shifter, Dana 300 + 4:1 Doubler / tri-stick, Custom skid, Super D35 / Auburn LSD / 4.88, 35x12.5x15 BFG KM2, 64mm t/b, 1.7 RollerRockers, MkVIII e-fan, Dual Diaph Booster

not 100% but the rubber mount is probably different - i think all TJs have a 4 bolt one (but here I am tallking about the ax15 or NV3550 which are out of the 6 cyl - i do think that the TJs 4 cyl have the same mount though). you can still use the mounts out of the 95 but you need to elongate the holes in them (there is a main one and also have another anti-torque which also holds the exhaust pipe at the other end).
