are moog joints worth the extra loot.  what are my upgadable options? what do u guys run?

I replaced the whole thing with a Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty Tie Rod link kit...

How is that RR tie rod and drag link kit? I was thinking about getting it. Great price.

For a TJ I would go with the currie setup, you can improve on that with a flip kit but it holds up better than anything else out there that will fit the standard knuckles. It's pricey but takes a hell of a beating

aw12345 has a good point; mine is on a YJ...  Now, I have had it on for about a year or so with no issues, but I also have not gone offroading yet.  I am pretty happy with it, and it looks to be stout enough for me.  I did have to replace the rubber boots, though, as I overfreased them and the broke on me (I boulght Poly ones instead of the rubber ones when I replaced them, and have had no more issues since).

Some of the other steering setups have bad toeout on turns so the tires shrub bad
Also once you bend the tierod on a rock it will knock the locknuts losse and the tierod will start to swivel on the tierod ends. The currie tierod can be bend but will not swivel and also is a solid chromemolly bar mine has had a bend in it for over a year just never bothered to straighten it might do that when I flip it and mount it on top of the steering arm on the left knuckle

I was at parts store and was looking at diff in moogs comp to oem replacement. moogs were super beefy. But 40 a tre. does anyone run them on stock links. 400 on currie system to pricey at this time
