Anyone knows a source for good pistons?
« on: July 24, 2009, 09:47:47 AM »
could use some help - does anyone know a source for good forged pistons, preferably with lower compression ratio - i would appreciate any pointers (even pistons that would work from other engines if that exists). Oh, I have a '95 YJ 2.5L and i am looking for standard bore and standard pin size. Thanks in advance.

i did look at their site but can't seem to find anything in the catalog for the 2.5L. Their search is also not available for automotive (once you select the year i only have atv, snowmobile, powerboat...). do you know where i can find the details on the pistons (mind you price would be also nice to know since i think these would be close to a million bucks).

you might try JE Pistons.  If nothing else they can make what you want.
