So I've been doing some research and was given a 2BBL carb with my Jeep when I bought it, since the stock carter 1BBL sucks, I am going to try and eliminate some vacuum issues and put in a 2BBL motorcraft. I have found a place to get the adapter plate and have heard I may need to adjust linkage for the accelerator cable... but was wondering if anyone has performed this type of surgery on their 2.5L .... any thoughts? :)
I know - you will all try to talk me into Fuel Injection, but I'm not ready for that yet.... Please bear with me, I want to upgrade my carburetor from a 1 barrel to a 2 barrel ... just curious about any thoughts/suggestions regarding this project. Thank you!
