wipers won't work

i did smoe checking before posting. my wipers worked fine. i turned them off and now they won't come back on. i checked th fuse behind the glovebox and it was good. is there another relay or did my motor take a crap. the wipers always ran at the proper speed.

on my YJ there is a wiper control block on the left side of the steering column under the dash (EDIT: behind the dashboard rather) - not sure if it's the same on your '97 TJ.

stopped by daveys jeeps on the way to work. he sells used jeeps and parts 5 min from my house. i got a wiper motor for $50 and was on my way. it's really nice to have him nearby for used parts and jeep knowledge. he said it's a common problem. they get rusty and stop working. prolly from the snow getting packed in the cowl. :beer:
