Any viable alternatives to Quadratec's $360 front seat belts?
« on: February 17, 2011, 09:11:12 PM »
Don't want to skimp on safety or buy ugly poorly made belts but $360 seems out of line for the front seats.  Any input is appreciated.

Is that to replace the stock ones or a harness of some sort?

Using tools you have not used in a while is like shaking hands with old friends.

Replace stock gray belts, everything but the sleeve that holds up the female end and the mounting bolts.

Have you tried the local dealer?  I work at a Ferd dealer and our belts are no where near that high.  Could also look at a place like Davey's Jeep and see if you can get used belts cheaper.

I replaced both sides in my CJ7 with belts from Auto Parts Warehouse (autopartswarehouse.com) for $100.

Stomper, I seriously considered that but as a former (now retired) maintenance manager I always hated the robbing of Peter to save Paul, you know the taking a screw from here cause I really need one up there kind of stuff.
