Bought my TJ with a 3in BL anyone have any ideas on how difficult it would be to replace with a 1in BL

if i assume right it's a body lift you would just change the lift pieces to the 1 inch

So in therey I should be able to just pull one 3in and replace w a 1in and work my way around the jeep without having to mess w anything else

steering and t-case shifter that i can think about.

not working your way around but one side at a time but pay attention to the center one in front (take the bolt out) and loosening the opposite side enough so it let's you compensate for the 2'' difference between the 2 of them.

You will likely have to undo the modifications to the transfer case linkage.
