Bedliners: Al's Liner vs. Monstaliner
« on: May 16, 2011, 12:16:17 PM »
Has anyone used either of these products before? I'm tired of dealing with wet carpet in my YJ and want to be able to just pull the drain plugs and be done with it. Al's liner comes in light tan and is tintable and Monstaliner is now available in both the factory spice color and 'desert tan'. I'm looking to either go with something that is fairly close to the pearlstone paint color or the spice interior color. If I had a black interior, this would be done already, but I've been waiting for a couple different options for colors.

I've done four Jeeps with Al's Liner. I really like the product. The only draw back is how fast it flashes once it is mixed. I usually mix it in half batches. Here is a link to a write up I did for our club. http://www.mississippivalleyjeepers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=303

Both of these Jeeps have the crumb mixed in. I've sprayed one Jeep without crumb, but don't have a pic of it.

One other thing, Al's Liner is custom tintable to any color you want. Instead of putting in the color tint that comes in the kit you add your custom color tint that you can get at any auto paint supplier.
