Not sure but with a price of
289.00 and you need a Valve spring kit for
 89.00
378.00 seems kind of high for a cam

and you still need to get new lifters.

cheep performance = boom usually.. pay to play or stay stock

Forgot the lifter for $50.  Also may need new pushrods too.

So for me and the way the jeep is running now I'm not sure it would be worth it, cause its running good now.  Except that Exhaust leak.

if you don't do it right the first time you will just repeat what you did the last time. buy your self some time and be rebuilding again shortly down the road

Here is why I said it seemed high.  Got a reply back from comp Cams and I may go with this one.

I would recommend running #68-232-4 which specs at 206/212 @.050 460/476 113lsa

This cam is designed for fuel injected applications and has an 800-4800rpm operating range.

We do not offer this cam in a kit with springs and retainers, as you will need to get the springs, retainers, and licks from Mopar Performance or HESCO.

The cam and lifters combo runs $198.48 with free shipping in the U.S.

Please let me know what you think, and if you would like to place an order.

Never mind my last post, they sent me the info for a 6CYL.   So it looks like they also do not carry anything for our engine.

the cam and lifters for the 6cyl at $198 - that's way cheaper than hesco. not sure what's the 4cyl one at if they have blanks or not, could be more pricey for a one-off, we'll see when grumpy hears back from them.

ya that's what I was implying.. asking the custom make one will be more then 200$ will prob make the hesco one worth second look.

not to mention they wouldn't have any testing done with it. so you would be the guinea pig.

My apologies, I thought the 4cyl said 4 liter.

We would have to do a custom grind for your setup on our 114-000-5 core.

The cam would run $194.62 with free shipping and would take 2-3 days to grind and ship out.

you won't be a guineapig, the cams are the same just delete the middle 2 cylinders, plus they can probably add a bit more lift or duration or both if your valves and springs can handle it.
