longer ones would fit with a shortened arm, i was thinking of picking up a couple of spare arms and give it a shot but didn't get a chance to do it.

I got my last set from Amazon but you have to watch the prices.  I noticed they jumped recently.  No one local sells the 12" or even the 13".  I think the smallest is 16" which is one of the reasons I want to change.  I want to try 14" to see if they clear.  There isn't much of a sweep on a YJ so longer blades might be OK.
Auto Zone here sells 12" and 13" but only in the base Anco or Trico blades.  Wally-Mart, K-Mart, etc., 16" is the smallest I see although Wally-Mart has REAR window wipers in 11" and up.  I was looking at them for my Focus wagon but the mount looked a little different and wasn't sure if they'd work or not.  On the Focus rear I just recycle the old blades from the Jeep.

I just picked up a pair of 13" ones at my local Napa....easy snap on and only about $16 for both.  They usually last less than a year though.
