For under $300 you have a couple of options to get one for your rear (Aussie, Lock Right, Spartan, etc.).

I had good luck with Prowertrax lunch box lockers in my yj. Had them front and rear with 31s. made by the same company that makes the lockright but has better road manners (smother disengagement and reengagement when turning).
1990 YJ 4cly, ax5, 2.5 inch BDS lift, 31 MTr\'s,  Powertrax-lockers all around, track-bars removed, boomerang shackles, warn m8000 winch, electric fan. [sold but not forgotten]

My vote is for Aussie.  I had them in the YJ with 35's and alloy axles.  Never had a problem with them, even when dropping the front end with the wheels spinning like crazy.

The clowns'? Oh, yeah, the clowns. We fight them too — entire armies, spilling out of Volkswagons. We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending 'em in!
