Well, I've been running my Honda Accord fan for a bit now and still am happy with the change.  No problems yet; it even got warm here for a few days and no change in engine temp was noted.  I still find that the only time I need it is when I'm idling for extended periods of time while the engine is at operating temp.  I'll probably use it more this summer.

I want to put this thing on a temp switch so I have an "AUTO" position and  an "OFF" position with a warning light when it's in the off position.  OFF will be nice for splash downs and creek crossings, and the red L.E.D. will warn me to turn it back to AUTO when I'm across.

My question is where the hell do I install the temp switch?!  I don't see any extra bungs to remove so I can add a temp switch.  I don't want to replace my gauge sender and loose that feature, and the water neck looks pretty busy already, so where the heck do I put this thing?  And if anyone already put one in, where did you get it? Thread count/pitch, thread diameter, Bla, bla, bla, ect...?

Thanks!  I would like to put this thing on auto-pilot A.S.A.P.!

ok maybe im just dumb but is there a tutorial on how to do this, the only thing i can wire is stereos and thats after a few trial and errors and a bunch of fuses

Littleredbeater, The temp sending unit on the thermo housing goes to the ECM, the other temp sending unit for the gage is at the back of the engine near the valve cover, it should have a small 90 degree connector which just pulls off. I just just replaced mine and a new unit was about $6 bucks at Pep Boys. Be careful if you change the thermostat to a 160, the emission control system may stay stuck in the warmup loop if the engine does not get hot enough and your mileage and performance may suffer.
