I have a 97 TJ that has a rusted and dented factory gas tank skid plate. I've heard that later TJ's had slightly better skid plates.
Will a factory skid plate from a later TJ bolt right up into place on my 97 or will it need modifications? What years are best?
I have no interest in using an aftermarket skid plate.
