buy ratchets that are warrantied and put everything you can find behind them. but really breaker bars are the proper way to go cause if the ratchet drive gears snaps you may go flying across the room. i used to have a set of frame mount hooks on my jeep and never had any problems from them and still have lots of friends that use them. as for the grades i was always told 8 for total strength and 5 for most shear resistant because the 8's are actually too hard to handle shear pressure and they pop.
