i went with the pacesetter one, just because it was cheap, and my friend with a 4.0 has it and loves it.  as for other mods, cool air intake, throttle body spacer, pacesetter tfx cat back. electric fan.  after the header im gonna get a 4.0 throttle body, and be done with performance mods, b/c honesty there nothing left to improve without dumping loads of money into it.

okay well after lots of beer, lots of rain and breaks, the header is in.  the down pipe was a pain in the rear, new down pipe still isn't installed.  I started it oepn header and my mom came runing outside screaming for me to take the headers out, she doesnt understand there still a down pipe cat and muffler to go on and muffle the sound.  i wish i could drive round open header legally.  might take it for a quick spin morow not sure yet..

haha i wouldnt if i were you. Open header is loud. I remember in my old honda after i did my motor swap driving to the muffler shop. 7000+ rpm open header was insanely loud lol.

okay well i got one thing to say boycott pacesetter.  they are shit, i got my jeep apart on my driveway, i hope to limp it to midas, so they can bend me a up and exhaust.  the down pipe blows doesn't fit for shit,  i ended up bashing the shit outa my cat to get the old down pipe out.  i cut my finger really badly.  im prob gonna end up getting a whole lot of the flexible exhaust and trying to hook up the downpipe to my muffler  and just go to an exhaust shop with it and be like put it together the right way please, and pay out the anus.  so yea eff pacesetter

well i finished it today sorta, i got no cat.  got crumby flex pipe coming off the down pipe, conecting to anouther solid pipe i smashed into my muffler.  boy is it ghetto, but its seems to be working.  at red lights it starts to ratle against my skid plate, its fun stuff.  ill get pics later so u guys can see my creativity lol  in a month im gonna take it to my bros buddy who got an exhaust shop

I warned people in my pacesetter header thread awhile back that the downpipe set-up is rediculous

I also have the Pacesetter header for my 97 TJ and my downpipe didnt seem to fit like it should.  It definitely seems to hang down way too low, and I am sure it will get damaged soon enough.  Maybe then, I will need to take it to an exhaust shop and get all of my mangled exhaust put up correctly.
