what normal running oil pressure, for some reason i think mines running a bit low.  i think normal is like 60 right? mine runs at a bout 40, and drops below that at idle, also my oil leak is still an issue, im gonna go out now and try titening my valve cover up and see what that does.

My guage runs between 40 and 60 with the proper oil level on the freeway. I have noticed that if I am low or high on oil it runs respective to that medium as well. Also if my rpm's are high it hightens as well and lowers with idle. At idle it's a little above the middle.

I have had an ongoing issue with my oil pressure.. even after replacing the entire engine block..  it drops to 0 sometimes while idling and the "check guages" light comes on and beeps.  It falls so fast after sitting at around 30 that I really don't think the gauge is reading correct.  Also, it jumps right back up to where it was after a few seconds of sitting at 0.  It doesnt sit at 0 for any certain amount of time it seems random.  I Dunno what to do but if I ever plan on selling the jeep im sure thats going to really mess with the value of it.  Good thing I don't plan on getting rid of it, at least anytime soon.

As for normal oil pressure.. It seems to me yours is fine.  I think as long as it isn't clear to the right or clear to the left you're good.  Keep in mind in the winter it might run a little high until the oil warms up.  At least, that's what I've been told.
