What does the Fresh Air Intake on a 90 YJ do?
Should it be open all the time?
The problem I am having is, cold air on my legs when driving down the road. I felt under the dash and it feels like the air is coming from above the steering column. I checked the firewall and all the rubber grommets are in good shape so I don't think there is a leak through the firewall. The only conclusion I can come up with is the Fresh Air Intake just in front of the windshield is stuck open.
Now I have what appears to be steam coming through my defrost vents that fogs the whole jeep up. I have to pull over and wipe down all the windows.
Yes I did a search for this and none of the results covered what I was looking for.
