okay well i fixed my oil leak, valve cover was loose and heck.  i went down to delaware two days ago, didnt do it the first 5 hours, once i got down there the jeeps starts bucking.  Only hapens when im first starting out, around 2 grand.  i checked the spark plugs, one of the wires was bad, so i replaced them and the plugs, but no luck still does it.  my guess is that one of the injectors is bad, and is flooding out that one cylinder.  When it happens sometimes if i floor it it goes away, but other times i gotta shift into neutral rev it till it recovers and then shift back to drive.  All i can say is i need it fixed like soon, any ideas.  You guys can just imagine my fun 5 hours rip back home today.  On the bright side i got a bolt on boner bar for the front of my jeep this weekend too.  ill post pics of that soon.

well i changed the o2 sensor and it seems to be good, but who knows, it seems like a little to little of an item to be bad to cause that issue.  who knows though

O2 sensors do not go out on their own. They need help. Something bad happens somewhere prior to the sensor's port to set it off. Gas/air mix, spark at the right time, and compression.

well no mine had a couple of umm falls when i did my header wa a little bent up but i stil thought it was fine, bt seems to of been the culprate

Ahhh, my header replacement had nothing to do with the O2 sensor. I have read that the yj's had a down pipe issue, but was jealous because theirs can be got for as little as a bill and a half,compared to my tj's Banks header at $400.00.
If the problem persists try the fuel pump or filter and maybe the mass air flow sensor/map sensor. Just do a ohms/voltage test on it. I think that is how we test O2 sensors as well.

ok problem continues, last night on the way home from my buddies house it happened unless i imagined it, wasnt in a normal state of mind if u understand.  on alldata it says to do a compression test, i am scared to do that, find out i need rings or something.  at school tomorrow i have access to an obdI tester so i kno what i will be doing tomorow

For some reason, I always felt comfortable purchasing the cap and rotor from the dealership.  They seem to last 2-3 times longer than an aftermarket brand.  I dunno...  Seems to work for me so far.

Filters and stuff I buy from a local auto part store.
