Topic: does this sound right?

I was asking on here about a couple things i wanted to do to my engine. I was told that too big of cam was not recommended for me because I have an automatic trans. I asked hesco if they had a cam available that would work with it and they said they had 2. Well the only cams I see on their site look way too big. I asked again to see if it wouldnt act right with the trans, but they said it would be fine because the trans is hooked up to a kick down cable not the comp.
IDK if its me or what, but somethin doesnt sound right. I would love it if it would work but.....

they are correct trans is connected t oa kick down cable connected to ur throttle boyd.  thats why when u d a throttle body spacer u need to space the cable tower the nessacary amount otherwise ur tranny shits at different points.  esco would not try to screw you they have a good reputation.

I'm not tryin to say there trying to screw me or that their even wrong, I just said that it didnt sound right to me. I've looked on here and it seems that a 248 type cam is about the most I can do for my auto. And they replied back with a short,non-hesitant reply that their big cams will work. And that kinda had me question it. But anyways do you guys think this will work well for me?

Most cams will work with your auto, don't be hesitant.  I'll second that Hesco gives out good advice.

Alright kool, that sounds good. Do you think it would mess with the vacuum too much for my trans or it really shouldnt bother it?
