would you do it/ would it work
« on: January 21, 2008, 09:09:55 PM »
ok so my deal with getting an s10 drive train fell through so I'm back to thinking 2.5l and possibly turbo. adn im selling a np208 transfercase that we have laying around and craigslist and someone wants to buy it and possibly trade for the 2.5l out of his cj8. from what Ive read the only real difference will be the intake carb vrs tbi injection right ? i was thinking that then i would have a motor that i could through money into and build u and put that turbo i have in my shed in it and i wouldn't lose my jeep for as long. big thing against me now is the time and space factor. since our garage is still full of furniture. so the question is. i it worth it/ would you do it?

True but you would save a lot of time engineering parts and end up with a setup that works nice.
What's the saying dollar wise and a pennies fool or something like that. For the most part its better to buy goodworking quality stuff than experiment with an unknown that might work or not, especialy if it's your daily driver
