Well, I got my Cherokee 12/28 and it's had this noise while the motor is running. Sounded like the water pump or ps pump may be going(bearing-wah-wah-wah sound). Well today the weather was finally nice enough for me to dig into in it farther. A friend used his stethescope(sp) tool to pinpoint the noise. It is coming from the crank pulley/timing cover area? the pulley has a slight wabble to it. Have any of you guy's ever had this happen? What can/would it be?
