Potential trouble point on YJ
« on: March 03, 2008, 04:45:56 PM »
I noticed this problem while troubleshooting my stater this weekend and wanted to share just in case the same is happening to your YJ.  The clutch fluid tube runs very close to the charcoal canister.  On my YJ, the tube is slightly worn where it has been rubbing on the canister, a bit more and it would leak.  I wrapped tape around that spot to protect it if it rubs and zip tied the tube so it would not rub any more.  You may want to check your  YJs, it may save you a clutch failure down the road.
