power steering
« on: April 08, 2008, 06:03:48 AM »
sometimes when i go to turn it feels as if the power steering assist is gone, my fluild level is okay, it doesnt feel as if the p/s is gone all the way but occassionally has more resistance while turning and the steering wheel doesnt always come back after a turn. the steering wheel feels sloppy as well almost like the pitman arm is shot but the connection b/w the steering gear and pitman arm is tight any ideas ??

Have you checked that your belt is tight enough?

Push your trnasfer case handle down really hard to make sure you are fully in 2-high...or shift into 4-high and then back into 2-high.
