Rugged Ridge Crossover Steering
« on: February 08, 2009, 07:58:36 PM »
I bought another Jeep this week.  It's a 98 TJ with two extra squirrels, 77K miles.  I got it for only $3800, but it has a few issues, one of which is that the drag link is bent from impact.  The tie rod end (TRE) is scraping against the axle bracket.  Since I need to replace, I may as well upgrade and I'm thinking about this:

I know that Currie make a heavy duty setup, but it's $400.  Anyone have intel on the Rugged Ridge product or a better idea?

I've also got axle that needs attention, but that's another post...

Hey Moz,

Are you happy with the Full Traction Long Arm?  I may go long arm once I save some coin.

A friend of mine has the fulltraction long arm under his jeep and after loosing the bushinng and swapping in heim joints he is very happy with it. Love their rear trilink setup. Liked it so much I bought the short arm version.
Either way His Jeep wheels very well its a good kit

It's awesome...nothing to complain about and certainly rides better than it ever has.
