Thanks, everyone.....need my eyes checked as 4wd.com stated specifically "96-03" ----duh. Forgiveness begged.....

Meanwhile, the 62mm throttle body and helix spacer has worked out well.

Anyone removed the restrictor in the intake?

they do make these chip type things that they cal performance modules and what they do is plug into ur o2 sensor in the intake and basically make it suck it in more air, i've tried it in my Cherokee an it actually did show some improvement.
just go to ebay and type it in and it should show a bunch of results, just there no point in buying a really expensive one there all basiclly the same, just look for lifetime warranties and other little "perks" on the ebay page.

if thats what u were looking for.

I have pacesetter header & high flow muffler. didn't really notice much difference in power. just more bark lol. but I'm lifted 4 inch spring lift with 33x12.5r15's mud-terrains km2's & I'm looking for a 6cylinder 62mm TB and going to get spacer plate for it & have currently 4.88's in shipping!! can't wait to get them lol. and I really like the 62mm 6cylinder tb update. I want to use easy cheep upgrades that if they break you can pick up at your local parts store. mainly performance parts are expensive and don't always stick around. figure do high in air intake and exhaust and gear it.

The 4.0 TB (6cyl) is 58mm not 62mm. To get a 62mm you need to have either the 2.5 or 4.0 machined and a new butterfly installed. Bounty Hunter has them avail. Check the vendors section. He also has TB spacers.

the 4.0l has a bigger bore than the 2.5l tb.... the 62mm tbs are bored out to be bigger than the stock tbs for either motor..
