So after driving 3 & 1/2 hrs to the river along the 10fwy I found out my speedo is slow by 10mph. My speedo was reading 60-65 but my wife who was following said we were going 70-75 .
I'm surprised that with the 33's and stock 4:10's that it could do that. I did a lot of 5th gear driving which i thought I wouldnt be able to do.
I did notice while climbing some steep hills offroading that it didnt make it up as easily as it used to. So i'm sure the 4:88's will help alot!
There was alot of soft sand because they havent had rain up there in a while so maybe thats why it was harder to make it up some of those hills?
I had the tires aired down to 12psi and they handled great. Thru the rocks and mud (it rained Saturday afternoon) they gripped and didnt get to clogged with mud!
As for the 4" flares they look good and worked great! They threw some mud and rocks up because of a lack of coverage over the tire. But no different than tube fenders in coverage.
