Billet Aluminum Fuel hatch
« on: January 15, 2006, 05:36:58 AM »
I'm sure some of you have bought this thing....what are you supposed to use to hold the intake part of the fuel tank in place once you remove the old housing assembly...It just floats there.

Is there another gas cap that you are using with the aluminum door...or do you just let it flop around back there without a cap??

I imagine there has to be some sort of stabilizer bracket to make the intake area stay centered with the opening.

Thanks,

woops...I thought you had to remove the entire plastic housing assembly and attach the new hatch directly to the sheet metal.....it actually screws right onto the housing.

You still have to remove the plastic components to get the gas cap off (unless, that is, you want to just rip it off??).

Fuel door is on....31's are on...stereo with iPod adapter in....Tuffy console in...

Just need to get the window tiniting done this afternoon and I'll upload some before and afters...looking hot now that the new whels and tires are on.
