Neep some advice on how to add more HP to my 91 YJ

I can still occasionally use 5th, and can comfortable cruise at 75 or 80 with my stock 4.11 gears and 33" tires.  Dont' get me wrong, regearing is good and I'll be at 5.38's one of these days, but the power mods have been an inexpensive temporary solution as regearing is cost prohibitive for many.

Have to agree. Re-gearing is out of the question right now until someone can help me do it. I refuse to pay someone to do it.  I want to know how to do it myself anyways. I know how to take the rear end apart etc.. I just don't know how to shim it correctly. Sounds like a small issue but I figure someone knows how to do it and can show me when i get ready to do it.
Until then the 4.0Tb, inertia ring, and TBSpacer will have to do. They actually do pretty good. i use 5th gear every now and then on the highway with 33's but usually 4th gear works great. I can cruise at 70mph at 2700 rpms and can hit 75+ at 3k+ rpm's.

I like it but will eventually go to 4.88's

Yea, if you haven't already done the 4.0 TB, I would definately find you one and bolt it up. It's definately worth the money spent.

Just remeber to swap both sensors from the 2.5L TB to the 4.0TB.

The 4.0TB sensors will make your idle shoot way up.
