Hello to all! My name is Brian and I've had a couple of jeeps in my years. I bought a 91 brand new shortly after returning from the Gulf War and I currently own a 92 which is not only my hobby, but my daily driver. I never was one to turn a wrench until I decided a couple of years ago to start learning. I've come a long ways learning about auto mechanics, jeeps especially, and have found the internet an invaluable source of information.

I've been hanging around jeepforum.com for a couple of years but only stumbled across this site a few months ago. I don't post a lot, but I try to.

Glad to be here.

Another Newb to this site. I have had a couple of Jeeps. My previous was a 95 YJ, custom flat fenders, 2.5, intake, 33" tires & 4" lift. The frame on that one rotted out. Got another YJ, 2.5, 33" tires. Nothing special. Needs some work. It was sitting in a guys garage for almost 7 yrs, and was never ran. I picked it up and had to change out the brake lines, vacuum lines, radiator, alternator, Battery, fuel sending unit, fuel filter and pump. I also had to have the gas tank cleaned out. I took the 4" lift off my old jeep and slapped it on.
All in all, Just looking forward to learning from this site and its veterans.

Hi, Had the xj a few months. It has been sitting awhile and has had some stuff taken off the engine. I tuned it up with rotor, cap, wires, plugs, new carter yfa 1bbl. Dropped the fuel tank, cleaned it out,new fuel pump and fuel hoses/filter,  some of the vacum hoses figured out and replaced. Still has issues with stalling above 1/2 open throttle.
The Pioneer has a 3 speed auto and 4 x 4 and snow tires. got it for my Non shifting wife to drive to work this winter. XJ has a new interior and fm / cd installed.  Now i'm introd i'll switch to the tech forum for some help
thanks jmc

I live in a northern suburb of Detroit Michigan. I have two jeeps, one is a 1985 CJ Renegade, and the other is a 1994 Wrangler S. I am enjoying reading about the upgrades that have been done on the 2.5 and it is modivating me to pump up the performance on my little YJ.
I really like the way the site is layed out and easy to use.

Hello All,

I just learned about this site and thought I'd check it out. I have a 94 Wrangler, 3.5 inches of lift, 32x11.5 Kumho Venture MTs, Rock Sliders, (not installed yet), a Ramsey 9000 Pro winch, and some mods and home brew parts that I've found on a few of the other Jeep sites.
