Hey Guys! i have been a member here for just about a year and have been reading the forums longer...anyways I have never gotten around to posting in the introduction. I drive a 1995 Jeep YJ 2.5L (Canadian) I bought it when i was 4 years ago at the ripe ol' age of 17. It barely Ran when i got it. I bought it from the original Owner...which i thought was a great thing. The guy never so much as changed the spark plugs the entire 8 years he owned it. Buying a Wrangler In SK Canada is not an easy thing to do unless you want to fork over 7-10 grand on a 10 year old jeep. I Paid 5. Well after a New Tranny. Some 235/75's and a tune up i ran it for 3 years stock. I have had it parked for a little over year because of insurance purposes(living in the US now) and have made some mods.
4.0L Throttle body, Cold Air Intake, Hooker Header Exhaust system. Purchased a Hard Top and full doors (although realized that In Missouri i probably don't need them). Sprayed the entire interior with truck bed lining. Converted My Speedo to MPH and added some white face gauges.  I Just purchased some 33"s dirt cheap on Craigslist and am now saving to do a lift.

Just want to say thanks To Jeffy and all the other guys who post. You have made my live much easier!

Nice to meet you guys I am from Hernando, Ms just south of Memphis, Tn. I own 2 jeeps a 2001 Tj with a few extras that take us where we want to go and a 95 YJ that has over 6 1/2 " of lift. I have not been a 4wd drive guy for very long only about 4 years. My dad was in the car business for over 40 years so I have work and own dozens of different type of vehicles from the 60's thru to the 2000's. I am not a spec guy but I can make it run to get you home. I have two boys one 15 and one 18. I bought these jeeps to spend time with them and maybe teach them a thing or two. I love 4 cylinders they are a challenge but when you get on right there is nothing better.  We have taken almost every bolt and nut off of both of our jeeps so we are learning something new everyday. We don't care what type of terrain that we run as long as it is fun. Superlifts park at Hot Springs, AR, is about 3 hours away so get up there every chance we get.
If you every get to the Midsouth send us a line and will show you some Southern Hospitality.

Hi all.
I’m in Phoenix, Arizona, been married to the same woman for 26 years. The last of 3 kids is in college. I picked up a basically stock 91 YJ to play with last month. I look forward to having some fun with it. One of the first things I have to do is lift it and put some tires under it, then we will see.

Howdy

Gary here, check sig for jeep, bought to play. You guys have a great site here.  Noticed a lot of guys from Socal here.  Lived in San Diego for 30 years, wheeled out at black mountain before all the building, been to gordons, glamis, buttercup, borrego. ocotillo in all forms of vehicles, 3-4 wheelers, off road cars.  But never a Jeep.

Went out last weekend for the first time here in Indiana.

I will be asking some questions.  Been reading your site for about 8 hours, great info, I am on 11 cars sites and know how to 'Search'.  ;)

Hi All!
I'm Don, I have a mostly stock 2.5L YJ on 30s.  I beat it up regularly at Rausch Creek in central PA.  www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org  One day my Jeep will grow up and have some ground clearance.  But, for now, I'll stock up on exhausts and oil pans.

Hello to all!
I just got my first Jeep, a 99 TJ about a month ago and have been here and over on the jeepforums reading and learning. Been wrenching on cars all my life with my father who was a professional mechanic.
So far I lifted it 2" with a procomp coil set, new shocks and an air intake. it has 30.5" x 9.5" yokahamas which suck in the rain by the way; new meaning to the term slip and slide. They are soon to be replaced with 32" or 33" with a better water tread design.
Great site for us guys with the little 4 slugger in our Jeeps.
