Twisting Up
« on: October 30, 2006, 07:52:41 AM »
Finally had a chance to actually see if the adj control arms provide a difference in articulation. Recently I installed the last of the adjustable control arms. Now all my control and track bars are adjustable and provide a way of flexing the axles.

Pic from December. 1" body lift, Lower front and upper rear adj. control arms and front track bar. 2" poly spacer lift (ACOS up front to adj for winch weight). 4" lift gas shocks. Front 2" bump stops. 34" LTBs.

This weekend. All control and track bars adj., same everything else suspension wise. 8.8 installed. Mod'd bump stops.

Nearly the same location. But if you look at the close up pics of the mounting bolts and bushings, you can see a difference.

I also back up the ramp and this way, the rear tire was about 1' short of where the front was on the other side of the ramp.
