Well...finally finished up the bumper and winch this morning and everything looks great...here are the pics:
Before...what a sad Jeep...
Went to the hardware store and upgraded to grade 8 bolts for everything. There was an interference issue with the bracket holding on the front sway bar, but I figured a heavy bumper bolted on top of it would hold it just fine (KOZ must assume you have an aftermarket swaybar installed??). The bumper lined up with the bottom bolts, but the top was off slightly...nothing a little drilling couldn't fix.
Here is the after shot...needed another trip to the hardware store for longer grade 8 bolts for the winch....I guess Warn doesn't think the bumper and plate will be that thick on an aftermarket bumper!! It all work out in the end.
Here's a close up of the winch...spool conttrol on the right as usual and a winch/air compressor control on the left.
Here is a close-up of the winch/air selector...doesn't get much more simpler than that!
Here is the right side of the winch where you access the air....ruber cover protects the coupling.
The air cover off exposing the access to the air coupling. The winch comes with a coiled hose and tire inflator. I also bought the accessory pack with an additional extension holes, tire deflators and a tire inflator with gauge.
Pretty standard hook-up to the battery, bu the compressor requires a hose to be routed inside the engine compartment to feed it air (highlighted in this pic)...has a filter on top to keep everything neat.
Last but not least, the controller...winch in and winch out switch on top with light in case of overheating (the winch is their standard 9.5ti thermometric)...kind of hard to see because it's black, but the switch near the bottom is an on/off switch for the compressor.
Everything works, but haven't had a chance to really test it out yet. We'll see how the air holds up before I decide to add an additional tank.
