ok so i went ahead and routed the stock air box to the cowl. I went to the local pick n pull and got an airtube off of a ford truck for about 8 bucks. the whole set up might look a bit ghetto but hey it works pretty well. the jeep seems to pull a bit harder and the mod was fairly easy to do. so i say the 30 bucks i spent was well worth it. ill post some pics when i get home monday.
