Sprayed a Jeep interior with Scorpion over the weekend

Almost done with it, should have some pics of it detailed up and ready to go tonight.

A customer loaned it to me for the week to use for a show this weekend. I coated the entire interior in desert sand Scorpion. Came out really good.

Best on the market. It'll never fade or break down due to UV exposure.

Just a stupid question, but do you need to have a spary gun and compressor to do this?  I a considering putting some liner in my cab, but I dont have a compressor or air gun (well, I got a small compressor, but it's more for airbrushig than spray painting!).

The gun comes with the kit, and you do need a compressor. 4cfm@90 is the smallest I have used. I tried a small framing gun compressor once, but that was too small.

If you can maintain about 50psi continuous, it'll work just fine.

I can probably maintain 50 psi by connecting both the Jeep's compressor (ARB) and the 110V compressor at the same time (I have done in the past to use air tools, but even with both compressors, impact guns and ratchets drain the air very quickly).

So what exatcly how much liner would I need and what other things would I need to buy to do this?  I am interested in liningthe interior of the Jeep, but I would have a hard time explaining to my wife spending a ton of $$$ when she knows I am saving for new tires and a winch...

That looks awesome!  :smokes: too bad I hate my spice interior, that color looks good in that Jeep though. Nice looking TJ in general.

I do plan on lining my interior and hope to git 'er done this summer. But of course, I'll be reinstalling carpet over mine, I like carpet  :weee: At least that way, I can pull it up before I go wheelin' and rinse it out when I get back.
