Topic: Jeep falls acts like it has a choke on when it's cold out

My jeep acts like it has a choke when it's bitterly cold out and will fall on it's face like it's starved for air for the first 3 shifts if I don't let it idle for a minute or so.  What gives?? Anyone elses jeep do this?

I would remove the throttle body, all its sensors, and give it a good bench cleaning.

When's the last time it had a tune-up?

I just put a 4.0 tb on and cleaned I til it was spotless and lubed it up and cleaned every sensor .. Did the same thing with the 2.5 tb too

any CEL codes? could be TPS but not sure.

also, you did replace your header, make sure you got the vac line to the MAP without any check valves on it.

 Yup everything is where its supposed to be and its just fine after the third shift and it has to be REALLY cold before this happens

maybe the temp sensor (the PCM temp sensor and not the gauge one). Could also be another sensor like TPS, MAP, Crank that acts up at cold but I would think you'd have a Check Engine Light in that case. Can also be fuel pressure or ignition related so give those a check also (but that is when it happens).
