Just a note, the TJ/LJ Rubicon D44 is bolt in, not c-clip.  Additionally, the tubes for TJ/LJ axles rarely present a problem... the D35 housing flexing and the skinny stock axle shafts are the most common complaints/sources of failure.

you're probably right, i was most likely picturing the GC one. the tubes are still weak though regardless of the center they will flex, a truss would fix that problem. I have no idea why they used smaller tubes, beats me.
