Well decided that I would not wait . Just turned it into a claim with Paypal.  They settled in less than a 1/2 hour.  Being refunded so time to look at that other one.

Went with the claim because if I'm having problems now what will happen if I have a problem with it.

Even with the 30 days gone they accepted?  I am considering doing the same...  I have not heard a word from this guy, and it's been almost 2 months since I sent the money...

Well, he resurfaced today with an e-mail saying mine is ready to be shipped out today just as I was about to put a claim in PayPal.  So I guess your complaint shook him into getting his ducks in a row.

I got tired of waiting so I went ahead and ordered some parts, will be testing and if all goes well i'll have one made the way i like it - he's just not good enough communicating so any issues i might have down the road will not get answered (still didn't hear back from him but even if I did 2 months later would be no good anyway in case something goes wrong).

That is Exactly why I turned mine into a claim.

Just ordered the 31165 Flex a lite.  Will give a report when I get it in.

There are a couple of others on E-bay that would be nice if I had the cash about twice what I paid for the 31165.

It may be E-bay but the part is coming from Summit racing.  I have plenty of parts shipped from them so I can at least trust them.

Or you could get it straight from them.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLX-31165/

Same price and same cost for shipping "Free"

Not a fair competition; mine is coming all the way down to Costa Rica, and mail here ain't exactly fast (even by snail mail standards!)
