Any thoughts?

I'm going to pull the trigger by tomorrow. I don't have alot of cash, but I just got paid.

Inner part of the passenger side axle shaft

i bet that's why it start leaking, probably not turning "true". I'm surprized it didn't break.

cromoly is your best choice but they're $$$ for the front ones, otherwise get a second hand one but would be hard to find i think (not 100% sure but i don't think the rubi shafts are the same with any other 44 front, i might be wrong though).

Replace it with another stock shaft.
Kicked it around, and went with stock $200 by Omix Ada. For the price of chrome molly, I'd be tempted to look at Dana 60s.
