Hey guys,
Jeep has been running odd recently. I notice it runs very rough at low rpms, requiring me to tap the gas to have it settle out, then as soon as I gas up and get out onto the road, it runs fine. I usually notice this as I'm pulling out of the parking garage at my union hall. When I start up in the morning, there is no issue, I drive down the road at low RPMs just fine, drive 86 miles and when I get to the parking garage, still no issue. However, when I leave (usually about an hour or 2 later) the jeep runs rough as I'm driving out of the parking garage and settles as I get to the road. Today however, I stopped at my neighbors for a chat, left his place and headed down to my place (rpms about 1500) the jeep ran real rough and stalled as I turned into my driveway. This continued as I started up and nearly stalled in reverse as well were it not for a tap of the gas pedal. Doesn't seem to happen in park, however.
Jeep stats are 3spd auto, 98 TJ 4cyl. Air filter recently cleaned, fuel injectors cleaned about 3 yrs ago.

there could be a bunch of things but the more obvious would be that one of the cylinders is not running right at low rpm, that can be due to an ignition problem (plugs, wires, cap, rotor), a bad injector that squirts or a bad tps (this happened to me). I'm sure there can be other reasons but this is just what i'm guessing - might help if when it starts doing it you pull over and pull the plugs out and see how they look (wet or color differences between them). does it run rough at idle also? any codes?

No codes and every now and again runs rough at idle, although recently has been fine at idle.

the spark plugs are old, and another friend suggested that as well. I guess I'll change them and see what happens.

Check ignition parts if that is fine, start looking for a leaking fuel injector

the other thing that happened to 2 of the members here (if i remember correctly) is to check the injector connectors, apparently it happens that they don't make good contact and due to vibrations going in/out of service (not opening due to poor electical contact) and creating the rough then good then back to rough running sequence.

I checked the IAC and TPS, made sure they were clean and then changed my plugs. Hasn't acted up since. The plugs were kinda worn.
