Title: Crank position sensor
Post by: underwhelmd on October 25, 2007, 03:44:27 PM
On a 94 YJ 2.5...  I can see it but how many hoops will I be jumping through to remove it and replace it with new?   Go in from the top or underneath?   Any advice would be appreciated as I heard it was a terrible job.

thanks.

From underneath it's a 10 minute job.  Just need a short 10mm socket

That's included time to talk, have a beer and go to the bathroom...

Install a body lift first.  :yikes:  Ha, ha, just kidding!

Underneath.  2 bolts.  You'll spend longer washing your hands afterward than you did replacing it.

Be careful with the connector.
