Not that I've ever heard of. What kind of jeep have you got?

Only Buick I've ever seen in a Jeep is the odd fire 6.

The 225 Dauntless V6 was a Buick engine from 1955-1971. He could be confusing the Pontiac 151cid 'Iron Duke' I4 for a later AMC model Jeep. They used them in CJ's till 1983. The AMC 2.5L 150 cid was used from 1984-2004.

They also used a Buick 350 in some of the early J trucks and wagons.
Mmmm, my old 225. Much better motor than the 231 that it replaced.

A friend of mine's parents has a '69 Super Wagoneer (rare) that had the 350 in it. It sat in the HS shop yard for years. I would have bought it for a song and dance years ago. Those things were cool!
Seeing as the OP is asking about a 4 cylinder I'm thinking it's the Pontiac.
