You have the H3 "Adventure Package" with lockers front and rear in 2009.  So If you can stomach the fuel bills, you will be able to buy an H3 Alpha (V8) with said Package.  I figure Jeep is going to wait a few years and see if Hummer H3 Alpha "Adventure Package" sales numbers makes the business case to do V8 JK Rubicon.  What say you?

I say, that if you want a V8 JK Rubicon and have $$ it's already really easy to get one ;)

I know those guys probably do what looks/runs like an OEM install.  But there'd be a lot of advantages to buying a factory version from Jeep:  Warranty, overall cost probably less than a custom version, probably better resale, Jeep service departments all over the place that are prepared to work on it and will honor warranty, aftermarket ready for it.   Of course, I'd say that the "cool factor" of a custom install is worth something too   :smokes:

The Commander has the Hemi motor. Isn't the frame/wheelbase the same? I would think this would be easy for Jeep to offer if you are willing to put up the $$$$

The Commander is a Grand Cherokee with a different body on it...for the most part...not the JK.
